How to Use Longspan Shelving Effectively

  • Planning: Evaluate your storage needs and available space to determine the dimensions and load-bearing capacity required for your longspan shelving system. Consider factors such as the weight and size of the items you intend to store.
  • Assembly: Follow the manufacturer's instructions to assemble the longspan shelving unit. Ensure that the upright frames are securely anchored and the horizontal beams are properly attached.
  • Configuration: Customize the shelf levels and adjust the spacing between them to accommodate the size of your items. Utilize additional accessories like dividers or bins for better organization and to prevent items from toppling over.
  • Loading: Place heavier items on lower levels and lighter items on higher levels to maintain stability. Distribute weight evenly across the shelves and avoid overloading them to ensure safety and prevent damage.
  • Accessibility: Arrange items in a logical and organized manner for easy identification and retrieval. Consider using labeling or barcoding systems to improve efficiency and inventory management.
